Yesterday I did a warm-up for tomorrow’s Witbank league, shooting Brian Enos’ drill to improve transitions six times, doing for Bill Drills and the “Call it and leave it drill” attributed to Steve Anderson.
I started with five misses on the first string! “Not happy” is probably not the right description.
I was shooting high and to the right and had to slow right down to get the shots on target again. I have a feeling that I was not calling the shots and leaving the target before I pulled the trigger.
Oh, well, such is life. I’m going to Witbank with only one goal in mind: Shoot at my current level. (OK, two. Not freezing to death is the 2nd.)
I’ll update with the results tomorrow.
